Two routes,
one more stop.

The route starts in 2019: Alfonso reaches Groningen, Rossana reaches Pisa one year later, and the two lines meet at an October 2025 work event in Paris before Barcelona in September 2026.

Rossana’s line starts at Roccella Jonica, reaches Pisa in 2020, and then Paris. Alfonso travels from CERN to Paris too, so both markers meet at the October 2025 Paris work event. They then return to CERN and Pisa respectively before Rossana moves to Barcelona for September 2026 and Alfonso visits from CERN. I understand you’re settling into your new life, processing the other things in your life, and also trying to enjoy this weekend with me.

That can be quite a bit to process. If you need time for practical things to settle in, or simply some space for yourself, I understand.

We can be as close and/or as distant as feels right, and we just talk about it. You should feel safe to express yourself with me, verbally or physically, as much as feels easy, comfortable, and mutual.

My honest forecast: I’ll probably want to get closer (as close as I can get to your hand and that face of yours). That’s an invitation, not a deadline.
